Nighttime Friend

Hand printed and painted linocut, print run of 50.
Late one night after a Covid lockdown, and having at last been able to catch up with a friend in her garden. I was nearly home, when a fox crossed the road in front of me, turned and looked directly at me. 
The world was quieter and it was lovely to see such a beautiful animal in an urban landscape, what a joy!
