HAND MADE PRINTS & PHOTOGRAPHS INSPIRED BY NATURE
Hello I am Andrea!
You could say printing is in my blood, as both my Father and Grandfather were litho printers for our local newspaper. My Dad also bought me my first camera many years ago.
I love animals, especially mammals and birds, and if I am not out photographing wildlife, then I am drawing, cutting, inking and making prints of them.
Each lino print is individually hand painted to make them unique, and all photographs are images of animals I have been lucky enough to encounter on my travels.
WHY INKY FOOTPRINTS.....
I share my home with several hairy and loveable Maine Coon Cats, as well as the precious humans in my life.
One day whilst printing, my most curious cat decided to walk across my inked up plate and then proceeded to walk all over the house!
I had to produce a cocktail of cleaning products to get her footprints off all the places she had run. It was at this point, the name inky footprints was born, thanks Peppermint!!
I hope the animals that have been significant to me in my life can add joy to yours!
